Ultragraphics by David Cohen is my independent creative studio, established in 1992. I’ve spent over three decades helping individuals, businesses, educators, and media professionals communicate more effectively — through smart design, clear messaging, and compelling visuals.
I started Ultragraphics during the early days of desktop publishing, when design was shifting from traditional layout boards to digital tools. Since then, I’ve kept pace with the rapidly evolving creative industry — upgrading equipment, mastering new software, and expanding into video production, infographics, and editorial work.
Today, I bring the kind of full-service creative capabilities you’d expect from a large agency — with the flexibility, direct communication, and affordability of working with an experienced sole trader.
What I offer:
-
Graphic Design – Layouts for print and digital, visual identity, marketing collateral
-
Photography – Award-winning work including editorial, product, and promotional images
-
Video Editing & Motion Graphics – Clean, effective video production for web and social
-
Infographics – Data visualisation and information design that’s easy to digest
-
Copywriting & Editing – Strong, clear content that speaks to your audience
-
Campaign Support – From one-off assets to part-time marketing support
Who I’ve worked with:
I’ve produced creative for national brands, small businesses, and institutions across Australia and New Zealand — including the media, education, mining, health, industrial, and automotive sectors. My work has appeared in major publications, and I’ve contributed feature articles to magazines in four countries.
Why clients come back:
I deliver high-quality creative work without the layers and costs of a large agency. When you work with me, you’re working directly with the person doing the work — no handoffs, no markup, just efficient and thoughtful creative service tailored to your needs.
